Xiaomi Black Shark 5

Xiaomi has recently recalled the covers of the latest generation Black Shark smartphones for mobile gamers with the Black Shark 5 series, which went on sale in China.

But phones will go on sale all over the world, and if so, when? Here’s everything you need to know about the three new models in the Black Shark 5 series

When will the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 be released worldwide?

Xiaomi announced the Black Shark 5 series in China on March 30, and the phones went on sale there on April 2.

We are still waiting for a wider global broadcast, but it may be soon. It has been confirmed that the phones will go on sale in Malaysia on June 8, and this is most likely the beginning – so we can expect the phones to be delivered to the rest of Asia and Europe within the same month.

In the case of the Black Shark 4, the standard model arrived in the UK and Europe about two months after it went on sale in China, but it took a full year for the Black Shark 4 Pro to hit global markets. We hope we will not see the same delays this time, but there is no guarantee, so be prepared to wait.

What are the features of Xiaomi Black Shark 5?

As seen above, the Black Shark 5 series has three levels. These are standard, RS and Pro.

The standard Black Shark 5 is an entry-level model and therefore does not get the high-level features you can find in the Pro. However, for the money, it can be a very interesting mid-range option, even for non-players.

The Black Shark 5 RS is essentially a rebranded Black Shark Pro 4 because it shares the same processor, cameras, design, display, and battery.

Finally, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, OLED display and advanced cameras, the only flagship is the Black Shark 5 Pro, which serious gamers will aspire to get.
